Licensed plumber & gasfitter — coastal suburbs

Water goes
where we tell it

Repairs, hot water, leak detection, blocked drains and gas work. You get a two-hour attendance window, a fixed price before a tool comes out, and the cupboard left drier than we found it.

  • Fixed quote first
  • Two-hour windows
  • Compliance paperwork

Start with the symptom

Tell us what it's doing, not what it's called

Most people ring a plumber because something is wet, cold or slow. Find the closest match below — it is the fastest way for us to work out what to bring in the van.

01

No hot water, or it runs lukewarm

We test the element, thermostat and anode before recommending a new unit, and we'll tell you honestly when a repair is only buying a season.

  • Element & thermostat
  • Anode replacement
  • Unit swap & resizing
  • Tempering valves

02

Water somewhere it shouldn't be

Acoustic and thermal detection first, cutting second. Finding the leak properly is usually cheaper than opening three walls looking for it.

  • Leak detection
  • Slab & wall leaks
  • Failed flexi hoses
  • Meter loss testing

03

Drains running slow, or backing up

We clear the blockage, then put the camera down to show you why it happened — roots, a belly in the line, or something that was never meant to go down there.

  • Camera inspection
  • Jet clearing
  • Root mapping
  • Relining advice

04

Taps, toilets and fixtures

The small jobs that get put off for months. Cartridges, cisterns, mixers and appliance connections, usually sorted inside one attendance window.

  • Cartridge & washer
  • Cistern rebuilds
  • Mixer upgrades
  • Dishwasher & fridge lines

05

Gas work and compliance

Gas is paperwork as much as pipework. Leak tests, appliance connections and isolation valves, with the certificate issued on completion.

  • Gas leak testing
  • Appliance connection
  • Isolation valves
  • Compliance certificates

06

Renovation rough-in and fit-off

We work to your tiler's and cabinetmaker's dates, not the other way around. Rough-in, pressure test, then back for fit-off when the room is ready.

  • Kitchen & bathroom rough-in
  • Fixture relocation
  • Pressure testing
  • Staged fit-off

How we quote

The money part, written down before we start

No hourly meter running while we think. Here is exactly how a job is priced and what happens when it turns out to be bigger than it looked.

Two-hour windows
You get a booked window, not a vague day. If the job before yours blows out, we call you with a new window rather than letting you wait.
Fixed price first
We look, test, then present a fixed price for the fix. Nothing gets dismantled until you've approved that number.
Variations stop the job
If the wall opens up and the story changes, we stop, show you, and requote. You are never handed a surprise at the end.
After hours is stated
Nights, weekends and public holidays are priced differently. You'll be told that when the booking is made, not on the invoice.
Parts and warranty
Where there's a choice between a budget and a long-life part, you see both options with their warranty terms and decide.
Clean-up included
Drop sheets down, floor vacuumed, old unit and packaging taken away. It's part of the quote, not an extra line.

On the tools

A fair picture of the work

Three jobs that make up most of our week, and what we're actually looking for on each one.

Plumber kneeling to work on pipework inside a kitchen sink cupboard

Leak detection

Listening gear and a thermal read before anything gets cut, so the repair stays the size of the fault.
Neatly installed copper pipe runs with soldered joints and valves

Pipework and hot water

Clean runs, supported joints, accessible isolation valves. Tidy pipework is cheaper to service later.
Completed bathroom with a wall-mounted mixer tap and basin after a plumbing fit-off

Renovation fit-off

Heights set against the tile layout, pressure tested, then fitted off the week the room is ready.

Work completed, pressure or flow tested with you watching, site cleaned and waste removed.

05

Paperwork emailed

Invoice, warranty terms and any gas or plumbing compliance certificate land in your inbox.

Questions worth asking

Before you book anyone

The answers we give most often on the phone. Ask the same questions of any plumber you call.

Do I pay if I don't go ahead with the quote?
There is an attendance and diagnosis charge, and you are told what it is when the booking is made. If you approve the repair, that charge is absorbed into the fixed price. If you'd rather think about it or get another opinion, you only pay for the attendance and you keep the written quote.
How quickly can you get to a burst pipe?
Weekday mornings are held open for emergencies, so a genuine burst or an overflowing drain is usually same-day. Turn the water off at the meter first — that stops the damage clock, and it means we can work calmly rather than racing the flood.
My pipework is old. Will you work on it?
Yes. Older galvanised, copper and early plastic systems are normal here. What changes is the approach: we test pressure and condition before touching anything, use isolation points generously, and tell you up front which sections are likely to protest. Where a repair would be throwing good money after bad, we'll say so and price the alternative.
Will I get compliance paperwork?
Any work that requires certification gets it — gas appliance connections, hot water installations and notifiable plumbing work. It's emailed with the invoice, and it matters later: insurers, property managers and buyers all ask for it.
Can I supply my own hot water unit or tapware?
You can, and plenty of people do. We'll check the unit suits your pressure, space and connections before installation day, and we'll flag anything that won't comply. Note that the manufacturer's warranty on customer-supplied goods stays with you; our workmanship warranty covers the installation itself.
Do you work in apartments and strata buildings?
Regularly. The practical difference is access and permission: common-property pipework and shared risers usually need building manager approval, and some buildings restrict work hours. Mention the building in your message and we'll sort the access questions before the booking rather than on the doorstep.
What does a blocked drain actually cost to sort out?
Clearing the blockage is the predictable part and is quoted as a fixed price. The camera inspection afterwards is what tells you whether this is a once-a-decade event or a cracked line that will block again every wet season. We give you the footage and two prices: patch it now, or plan the repair.
